The job is simple: help you handle diaries, herd chats, and sort meetings without the chaos. But before we do any of that, here's what you need to know about how Ting works - and what's expected in return.

Just a friendly reminder: Ting is still in Beta.

That means things may change, new features will evolve, and (occasionally) something might break. But our mission stays the same - better organize and exchange your time with others.

WHO CAN USE TING

  • You're 18 or older
  • You're based in the UK, US, EU (Germany coming soon), or Brazil
  • You've read and accepted our Privacy Notice
  • You have a valid Gmail or compatible account

WHAT YOU GET

  • A smart AI assistant to coordinate your meetings and manage your schedule
  • Zero effort booking - no links, no awkward "Can you do Tuesday?"
  • Your calendar updated automatically through email and chat

WHAT TING DOESN'T DO

  • Offer legal, financial, medical, or life advice (I'm great at meetings, not stock picks or prescriptions)
  • Guarantee perfection - AI's learning alongside you
  • Promise zero bugs or downtime (Beta life!)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Don't spam, misuse, or abuse Ting
  • Don't hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with how Ting works
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Don't use Ting to collect or misuse data about others
  • Respect privacy: only CC Ting where relevant

AI, GEMINI & ACCURACY

Ting uses Google Gemini AI and other AI models to process availability, read context, and coordinate meetings.

Here's how it works:

  • Gemini and Ting may process aggregated or anonymized meeting and conversational data, especially on free or beta plans.
  • We constantly test and improve AI accuracy, but errors may occur - always double-check before confirming major meetings.

PRICING, PLANS & PAYMENTS

Ting is built for professional and business use. Consumer use (and consumer laws) are excluded.

You can use Ting for free for up to 10 completed bookings. After that, you'll need to upgrade to a monthly paid plan to keep scheduling.

A few things to know:

  • Plans are billed monthly, in advance and instantly activated on your account
  • You can cancel anytime effective the following month - no long-term commitments
  • (Partial) Refunds aren't available as the top-up is immediately credited to your account. However, you can cancel any time

We may update pricing from time to time. We will provide advance notice if you have a rolling subscription.

Our ambition is simple: pricing should trend down, not up, as we optimize the product and scale responsibly.

Any pricing changes will apply going forward and won't affect past charges.

LANGUAGE & TRANSLATIONS

The English version of these Terms is the source of truth.

We may provide translated versions (including Brazilian Portuguese, French, Spanish, German, and Italian) for convenience. If there's ever a difference in meaning, the English version will take precedence.

DATA, PRIVACY & INNOVATION

You always stay in control of your data - Ting just helps you use it better.

We use your data to:

  • Coordinate and manage your meetings
  • Improve scheduling accuracy and efficiency
  • Build aggregated insights that power new AI features and context-aware coordination
  • (With your consent) pilot new services like a time-based intent network that helps people and businesses connect at the right moment
  • (With your consent) send you updates, information about product improvements and other marketing messages
  • Future product innovation may include optional contextual services, intelligent recommendations, or advertising based on time signals.

If we ever introduce these:

  • You'll be asked to opt in clearly
  • We'll explain exactly what's used and why
  • You'll be able to turn it off anytime

LEAVING TING

Want to go? We'll miss you - but it's simple.

Visit your Profile and select Delete My Account.

Once deleted, all personal data is permanently erased.

We may retain anonymized, aggregated data to keep improving Ting and the time exchange network.

LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

We'll always do our best to keep Ting running smoothly, but:

  • Perfection isn't guaranteed - especially in Beta.
  • We're not liable for missed meetings, double bookings, or third-party service issues (like Zoom or Gmail outages).
  • We're not responsible for indirect, incidental, or special damages.
  • Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid in the past 12 months (if any).
  • Nothing here overrides your statutory rights.

CHANGES TO TERMS

Ting evolves fast - sometimes our Terms need to evolve too.

When we update them:

  • We'll publish new Terms on our website.
  • If it's a major change, we'll aim to notify you directly.
  • Updates take effect once posted, unless stated otherwise.
  • By continuing to use Ting, you agree to the new Terms.

If you don't agree, you can stop using Ting anytime - no hard feelings.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, unless your local laws require otherwise.
